Meal Prep For a 10 Month Old

If I took meal prep as serious for myself as I do my son, I would have a much healthier lifestyle.

Up until this past week, we have been feeding the little guy bananas, berries (blueberries and strawberries), AVOCADO, butternut squash, and some other steamed foods.  The key has been to buy the organic frozen veggies from The Fresh Market and store them until they are ready to be used.

Lately, we have been trying to make him “real” food.  So for example, we took dry oatmeal, bananas, and made edible treats with peanut butter.  The issue with that has been the peanut butter is processed stuff.  Meaning it has a lot of artificial sugar.

So…two “real” meals that I made include the following:

Meal 1: Sweet Potatoes, Yellow Squash, Avocado, and Chicken Breast.

Meal 2: Sweet Potatoes, Bananas, a small piece of Mango, some Avocado, and Veggie Pasta.

To my surprise, the pasta was Bishops choice of meal.  I am trying to figure out other ways to feed him real food.  A quick side note….he has no teeth.
